2020. The beginning of a new year. The beginning of a new decade. This quote reaches 20 years into the future. It reminds me that we so often voice our resolutions at the beginning of each year with such good intentions and vigor. But that same intention and vigor must be applied to action to create what we want in life. It’s easy to think it’s done merely by an announcement. But resolutions for the future are useless if they are not coupled with action. Action brings potential to life. Pay attention to the action. What you do is your resolution in fact—so throw off the bowlines.
